Ep 38. Aipom and Circumstance

Ash and his friends arrive at a city where Ash hopes to participate in the Battle Arena tournament. In the meantime, Aipom suddenly disappears, prompting the gang to search for her. While looking, they stumble upon a group of Aipom, but one seems different - it can't seem to steal anything, a trait unique to Aipom. The gang soon discovers that this Aipom is actually the pet of a young boy named Ethan who is training it to become a Pokémon performer. However, the pair's bond is threatened when Team Rocket devises a scheme to steal Aipom. Ash and his friends work together to foil the plan and help Ethan and Aipom perform in a competition. When Aipom suddenly evolves into Ambipom during the performance, the team is surprised and thrilled to see their new abilities. The group goes on to compete in the Battle Arena tournament while learning valuable lessons about teamwork and friendship.
