Ep 49. A Scare to Remember

Ash, Pikachu, and the gang are on their way to the Battle Dome and experiencing some spooky happenings on the way. Misty's Politoed accidentally knocks Pikachu into a river, and Pikachu gets swept away. Meanwhile, our heroes stumble upon an abandoned mansion and decide to explore.

Inside the mansion, they encounter strange occurrences, like doors closing on their own and ghostly whispers. The gang splits up to explore, and Max finds himself trapped in a room with a mysterious, shadowy figure. Elsewhere, Pikachu is rescued by a kind-hearted family of Wooper, who take him in and help him on his journey.

As the gang continues to explore the mansion, they find themselves face-to-face with a group of mischievous Gastly and Haunter. But these aren't your ordinary ghosts - they have a unique ability to manipulate time and space, leading to some strange and confusing encounters.

Meanwhile, Pikachu is trying to find his way back to the gang when he runs into an unlikely ally: a Gastly who's been ostracized by the rest of the ghostly group. The two form an unlikely bond and work together to navigate through the dangerous terrain.

As the gang reunites, they face off against the Gastly and Haunter, trying to put an end to their mischievous ways. But it's not until they're faced with a powerful Gengar that they fully understand the danger they're in. With the help of their Pokemon and the Wooper family, they're able to defeat Gengar and put an end to the ghostly chaos.

In the aftermath, the gang discovers the truth behind the mansion's haunting - it was all the work of a mischievous Jigglypuff who had been using its singing to create illusions. With the truth revealed, the gang is able to continue on their journey to the Battle Dome, grateful for the new friendships they've made and the adventures they've had.
