Ep 6. Tie One On!

Ash and the gang walk into a small town where a big festival is about to take place. While they are there, they come across a store with all sorts of ribbons in the display window. May recognizes the store as one of her favorites and walks in to look at the ribbons. While May is browsing through the selection, she runs into an old friend, a Coordinator named Brianna.

Brianna is preparing for a Contest, and she shows May the ribbon that she plans to use. It is a rare rainbow ribbon that is said to bring good luck to whoever wears it. May tells Brianna that she has never heard of it and is impressed. Brianna admits that, while she does believe in its powers, she is mostly using it for good luck.

May decides to help Brianna with her preparations for the contest, so they go to the town's Contest Hall together. Inside, they meet the man who owns the ribbons store. He is a retired Coordinator, but he still loves making ribbons and donates some to the Contest Hall every year. He tells May and Brianna that he has a special ribbon that he made for this year's winner. It is said to be even luckier than the rainbow ribbon, and he hopes that it will help the winner go all the way to the Grand Festival.

May is amazed by the ribbon and vows to win the contest and claim the ribbon as her own. However, Brianna has her sights set on winning as well, and the two friends promise each other that they will do their best but remain competitive.

The day of the contest arrives, and May and Brianna compete against each other. They both do an excellent job, but in the end, it is May who comes out on top. She wins the ribbon, and the crowd cheers. Brianna congratulates May on her victory, but she also admits that she is disappointed. May realizes that even though she won, she hurt her friend's feelings by taking away her chance at victory.

May decides to do something to make it up to Brianna, so she takes the ribbon that she won and gives it to Brianna. She tells her friend that she should have it because Brianna deserves it more than anyone, especially since she was the one who inspired May to become a Coordinator in the first place.

Brianna is touched by May's gesture and thanks her. However, the magic of the ribbon isn't over yet. As Brianna and May embrace, confetti rains down on them from the ceiling, and everyone in the room is amazed. The retired Coordinator who donated the ribbons explains that the Grand Festival is going to be held in the town that year, and the confetti is a sign that the town has been chosen as the host.

It turns out that the rainbow ribbon and the special ribbon that May won were both made by the retired Coordinator himself, and he intended them to be a symbol of the town's good luck and prosperity. The episode ends with May and Brianna hugging each other, surrounded by confetti, and looking forward to the Grand Festival.
