Ep 46. Having a Wailord of a Time!

Ash and the gang arrive at a small island, where they meet a Wailord which is stuck in a shallow bay. Keeping their Pokemon aside, they make an effort to dislodge the giant Whale Pokemon from the shallow bay. As they attempt to move Wailord back into the sea, the gang receives help from a local boy and his two Pelipper. Once Wailord is free to move, the boy explains that Wailord's own weight will drag it back to shore. Therefore, the team must come up with a plan to help Wailord migrate to a deeper part of the ocean.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket follows the gang to the island, revealing a new Pokemon they have found - Anorith. They also reach the shallow bay and release Anorith, a Pokemon known for having a powerful Water Gun which they hope will lead to their success in bringing Wailord back to shore.

As the team continues to help Wailord, they encounter a group of Wailmer and Wailord, who cannot swim deep due to a strong underwater current. Ash comes up with the idea of getting the Wailord to use Water Spout, a move that generates a fountain of water with enough force to alter a water current. Ash and the gang decide to help the Wailords migrate to the deeper part of the ocean.

In their attempt to help the Wailords, the team must face Anorith and Team Rocket's plan to capture Wailord. Despite Team Rocket's efforts to capture Wailord, the gang slowly manages to migrate all the Wailords to a deeper part of the ocean, out of harm’s way.

As the sun sets, the team prepares to leave the island. They meet the young boy who helped them save Wailord, who invites them to a feast in honor of their efforts. Celebrating their victory with the local people, the team is once again set to embark on their journey through the region.
