Ep 13. Get the Show on the Road

Ash, Brock, and May arrive in Mauville City, the next stop on their journey. They're excited to compete in the Tri-Tower Challenge, a competition that tests trainers' skills in three different areas. But when they arrive at the contest venue, they're surprised to find that all the other competitors are driving their own vehicles. They quickly realize that they need to get a car of their own if they want to compete.

Luckily, a local mechanic named Teala overhears their conversation and offers to help them out. She takes them to a junkyard where they find an old clunker of a car. Teala gets to work fixing it up while the gang goes to explore the city.

They soon discover that Mauville City is home to an impressive bike path known as Cycling Road. They decide to take a break from their car troubles and do some cycling instead. However, they soon find out that the road is closed due to a landslide. Undeterred, they decide to use their Pokémon to clear the path themselves.

The trio and their Pokémon work together to move boulders and rocks out of the way. However, they soon realize that they're not the only ones on the path. A group of wild Tauros are charging towards them, and it's up to Ash and his friends to outsmart them and avoid getting trampled.

After successfully evading the Tauros, the gang arrives at a nearby Pokémon Center. They meet a group of young trainers who are also preparing for the Tri-Tower Challenge. The trainers show off their unique vehicles, including a unicycle and a tandem bike. Inspired by their ingenuity, Ash, Brock, and May start thinking of ways to improve their own car.

Meanwhile, Teala has finished fixing up their vehicle. When the trio returns to the junkyard, they're amazed at the transformation. Their car is now a sleek and shiny machine, complete with a GPS and other high-tech gadgets.

They hit the road and head to the Tri-Tower Challenge venue, confident that their new ride will give them an edge in the competition. However, things don't go exactly as planned when their GPS malfunctions and they get lost.

As they drive around searching for the venue, they come across a young girl who has lost her Poochyena. The gang decides to help her search for her missing Pokémon. Along the way, they encounter obstacles like a steep hill and a rocky path, but they persevere and eventually find the lost Poochyena.

With the girl's gratitude, they continue on their way. They finally arrive at the Tri-Tower Challenge and are amazed by the impressive vehicles of the other competitors. However, they're not intimidated and are determined to do their best.

The Tri-Tower Challenge consists of three events: a race, an obstacle course, and a battle. The gang excels in the race and the obstacle course, thanks to their car's speed and agility. However, they struggle in the battle event, facing tough opponents with powerful Pokémon.

Despite the setbacks, they persevere and eventually come out on top, winning the Tri-Tower Challenge. They're thrilled with their victory and proud of their accomplishments. They're also grateful for the new friends they've made along the way, and they leave Mauville City with memories that will last a lifetime.
