Ep 64. Hoenn Alone!

Ash, Misty, and Brock are on their way back to Petalburg City when they decide to take a shortcut through a forest. However, their journey is interrupted when they encounter a strange and hostile Pokémon.

As they try to escape, they stumble upon a young girl named Max who has been separated from his parents. Max is familiar with the local Pokémon and offers to help the group navigate through the forest.

Together, they encounter various challenges, including a group of wild Pokémon and a treacherous river. They also discover that the Pokémon that was chasing them earlier is actually a friendly creature who was only trying to help them.

As they continue their journey, Ash and his friends learn more about Max and his family. They soon realize that he is actually the younger brother of their friend May, who they had met earlier on their journey.

The group eventually makes it to Petalburg City, where Max is reunited with his parents. Ash and his friends say their goodbyes and continue on their journey, with a newfound appreciation for the power of friendship and the strength that can be found in working together.
