Ep 42. Fangs For Nothing

Ash and his friends are on their journey to the Hoenn region and stumble across a Pokémon Breeder named Madame Muchmoney. She's trying to make her beloved Spoink happy by finding it a pearl, but after searching everywhere, they come up empty-handed. Suddenly, Team Rocket appears and tries to steal Spoink along with Madame Muchmoney's savings. However, in the fray, they accidentally drop a box containing a fang that they had stolen from a nearby museum. The group decides to return the fang to the museum, but they soon find out that the fang is actually from a Legendary Pokémon called Seviper that had been extinct for years. After delivering the fang, they realize that Madame Muchmoney's Spoink had accidentally swallowed the fang!

Desperate to retrieve the fang, the group decides to return to the museum, only to find out that Team Rocket has already stolen it again. Ash, Misty, Brock, and Madame Muchmoney team up to retrieve the fang, but it's not going to be an easy task. They have to fight their way through Team Rocket's traps and battles before they can finally retrieve the fang. In the end, they successfully retrieve the fang and return it to the museum.

Meanwhile, Seviper, the Legendary Pokémon that the fang belongs to, has awakened. Jessie and James of Team Rocket had been planning to capture Seviper and use it to rule the world, but when they realize that Seviper is not what they expected, they flee. Now free, Seviper decides to protect Madame Muchmoney and her Spoink from any danger. It turns out that Seviper had been following Madame Muchmoney and her Spoink for some time and had been secretly protecting them. Seviper also has a deep connection to the fang that Spoink swallowed, and after it regurgitates the fang, Seviper becomes weak. Now it's up to Ash and his friends to protect Seviper and make sure that it is safe.

The episode concludes with Madame Muchmoney giving the group a reward for their help in finding a pearl for her Spoink. She also tells them that she'll be retiring from Pokémon breeding and taking care of her Spoink full-time. Ash and his friends say their goodbyes and continue their journey to the Hoenn region, while Spoink and Seviper watch them from afar.
