Ep 16. Wobbu-Palooza

In Pokemon season 4 episode 16, titled "Wobbu-Palooza," Ash and the gang arrive in Wobbuffet Village, a town known for being home to many Wobbuffet. The town is preparing to hold the annual Wobbuffet Festival, which celebrates the unique abilities of the Wobbuffet species.

The gang meets up with the village's mayor, who explains the festival's rules and introduces them to a group of Wobbuffet trainers who have come from all over the world to compete. Ash and his friends decide to participate in the festival and enter their own Wobbuffet, which they caught earlier in the season.

As the festival begins, the trainers showcase their Wobbuffet's abilities through a series of challenges, including a race and a talent show. Ash and the gang's Wobbuffet, however, proves to be uncooperative and refuses to participate. The group begins to worry that they won't be able to win any of the challenges.

Meanwhile, a group of Team Rocket members arrive in Wobbuffet Village with their own Wobbuffet, which they plan to use to capture all the Wobbuffet in the village. James, who is particularly fond of Wobbuffet, struggles with the plan, but ultimately agrees to help his team.

As the festival continues, Ash and the gang realize that their Wobbuffet is actually a female, and that she is in love with another Wobbuffet in the village. With this newfound knowledge, the gang is able to motivate their Wobbuffet to participate in the challenges and help her win.

In the final challenge of the festival, a battle between the Wobbuffet trainers, the gang's Wobbuffet and the Team Rocket Wobbuffet face off. The battle is intense and the two Wobbuffet are evenly matched. Just when it seems like all hope is lost, James steps in to defend the Wobbuffet, standing up against his own team and their evil plan.

In the end, the Wobbuffet Festival is a success and Ash and his friends leave Wobbuffet Village with a new appreciation for the abilities and personalities of the Wobbuffet species. James, moved by his experience with the Wobbuffet, begins to question his loyalty to Team Rocket and his place in their schemes.
