Ep 42. The Fire-ing Squad!

Ash, Misty, and Brock find themselves in the middle of a blazing heat wave as they make their way through the Johto region. As they stop for a break, they soon discover that the forest they are in is on fire, as a group of firefighters rushes towards them to try and put out the flames.

The trio soon meets up with a girl named Lara, who is also a firefighter. Together, they join forces to help control the fire, working tirelessly to put out the flames and save the forest from total destruction.

However, as they work, they soon discover that the fire was caused deliberately by Team Rocket, in an attempt to steal a rare and valuable Pokémon that lives within the forest. As they search for the culprits, Ash and Lara find themselves caught up in a fierce battle against Jessie, James, and Meowth, who will stop at nothing to get their hands on the rare creature.
