In the Pokemon season 3 episode "Wired For Battle," Ash, Misty, and Brock arrive in a new town where a tournament is about to begin. The tournament is called the Pokémon PokeRinger competition, and the winner will receive a rare and powerful Electric Pokémon.
As the competition begins, Ash is paired up against his rival, Gary. In their match, Pikachu and Eevee face off in a fierce battle, with both sides showing off their impressive strength and skills. While Ash and Pikachu put up a good fight, Gary ultimately comes out on top, leaving Ash feeling disappointed but determined to continue.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket is up to their usual antics and devises a plan to steal the rare Electric Pokémon prize. They sneak into the arena and use a device to control the tournament's machines, including the PokeRinger hoops that the contestants must throw their Pokémon through to score points.
The device causes the machines to malfunction, and chaos ensues as Pokémon and their trainers are sent flying through the air. Ash and Pikachu are caught up in the chaos, but they soon realize what's happening and work to reunite the lost Pokémon with their trainers and stop Team Rocket's plan.
In the final match of the tournament, Ash faces off against a tough opponent named Jeanette Fisher. Jeanette's Electric Pokémon has the ability to generate a powerful electric field, making it difficult for Ash and Pikachu to attack.
But Ash has a plan. He uses Pikachu's speed and agility to dodge Jeanette's attacks and get closer to her Pokémon. Once Pikachu gets close enough, Ash has him use a powerful electric attack that not only defeats Jeanette's Pokémon but also disrupts Team Rocket's control device, bringing an end to their scheme.
In the end, Ash and Pikachu are crowned the winners of the PokeRinger tournament. Ash feels proud of himself and his beloved Pokémon, and he and his friends continue on their journey to become the best trainers they can be.
