Ep 24. Ignorance Is Blissey

Ash, Misty, and Brock arrive at the town of Happyville, where Nurse Joy has been replaced by her ditzy cousin, also named Joy. They soon discover that the town is in a state of cheerfulness and joy, but also strangely unhealthy. The reason for this is revealed to be Blissey, the town's Pokémon nurse, who has been over-nurturing the Pokémon to the point of sickness. Ash and his friends work together with the ditzy Joy to help Blissey learn to balance her nurturing instincts with more practical nursing skills. In the end, Blissey graduates from Pokémon nursing school and Joy is able to return to her duties as the town's regular nurse. The episode ends with Ash and his friends continuing their journey to the next town.
