Ep 37. That New Old Gang of Mine!

Ash, Pikachu, Goh and Chloe receive an invitation from the mysterious Boss of Team Rocket to visit their headquarters. Although they enter with caution, they soon realize that this is not the Team Rocket they have battled with in the past.

Led by a new trio of executives, Petrel, Ariana and Archer, the new Team Rocket seems to have turned over a new leaf. They are no longer interested in capturing rare pokemon to sell them, but instead, they want to create a peaceful coexistence between humans and pokemon.

As the gang explores the new Team Rocket Headquarters, they encounter several familiar faces from previous seasons - Cassidy, Butch and Professor Namba. The former villains are now working as research assistants for the new Team Rocket, and as they catch up, they reveal that they are happy with their new lives.

But as the gang delves deeper, they become suspicious of the new Team Rocket's true intentions. They cannot be sure if the changes are genuine or whether they are just a cover for a bigger, more sinister plan. Meanwhile, Meowth, who is still loyal to the old Team Rocket, has infiltrated the new headquarters to gather intel.

When the gang discovers a secret laboratory in the basement of the headquarters, they find out that the new Team Rocket has been experimenting on pokemon to create a more powerful breed of creatures. Shocked and appalled, the gang confronts the executives, who reveal that they were forced into the research by a more powerful group.

As the group debates on their next moves, they are attacked by this new group - a cult of pokemon enthusiasts who believe that pokemon should be the rulers of the world and that humans are inferior. Led by a mysterious figure known only as "The Prophet," the group seeks to use the super-powered pokemon created by new Team Rocket to overthrow humankind.

In the ensuing chaos, the gang and the executives of new Team Rocket band together to fight this new threat. Several epic pokemon battles take place, and while the gang is outnumbered, they manage to hold their own. With the help of the new Team Rocket, the group defeats the cult and captures The Prophet.

In the aftermath of the battle, Petrel, Ariana and Archer resign from their positions in new Team Rocket, feeling betrayed by their association with the organization. The former villains - Cassidy, Butch and Professor Namba - decide to strike out on their own and start a new, separate research team to make discoveries that benefit both humans and pokemon.

As the gang prepares to leave, Jessie and James - the original members of Team Rocket - make a surprise appearance and reunite with their old friends. The group parts ways on good terms, with the promise of meeting again in the future.
