Ep 27. A High-Speed Awakening!
Ash Ketchum and his friends are traveling through a desert region when they come across a high-speed train. The train's conductor, a woman named Julia, challenges Ash to a battle. Ash accepts the challenge, eager to test his skills against another trainer. The battle begins, and Julia's Raichu proves to be a formidable opponent. Ash's Pikachu is struggling to keep up with Raichu's speed. However, Ash refuses to give up and comes up with a new strategy. He has Pikachu charge up its electrical power and then use it to move at an incredible speed. Pikachu's new technique catches Julia off guard, and Ash wins the battle.
Impressed by Ash's skills, Julia invites him and his friends to ride the train with her to the next city. Along the way, they learn that the train is an express train that travels at an incredible speed. However, the train's power source, a rare mineral called Zephyrite, is in danger of running out. The group realizes that they must find a new source of Zephyrite before the train is forced to stop.
As they continue on their journey, the group encounters a group of thieves who are after the Zephyrite. The leader of the thieves challenges Ash to a battle. The group battles against the thieves, and Ash defeats the leader. Julia thanks Ash and his friends for their help and presents them with a medal as a token of her gratitude. The group continues on their journey, with the train speeding towards its destination.
When they reach the city, Ash and his friends are treated to a tour of the Zephyrite factory. They see how the mineral is extracted and processed and learn about the important role it plays in powering machinery throughout the region. However, they also learn that the factory is facing a crisis because of a high-speed train that is causing disturbances in the Zephyrite deposits. This train is none other than the one they had just ridden on, driven by Julia.
Ash and his friends learn that there is another train driver who is intentionally causing the disturbances in the Zephyrite deposits. They confront the driver and learn that he is working for a company that wants to monopolize the production of Zephyrite. The group battles against the driver and his Pokémon, but they fail to stop the disturbances.
Despite their defeat, Ash and his friends are determined to find a way to protect the Zephyrite deposits. They come up with a plan to ride on the train with Julia and use their Pokémon to create a shield around the Zephyrite deposits. The plan works, and the train passes safely through the deposits. The driver of the other train is arrested, and the group receives another medal for their bravery.
Before they leave the city, Julia tells Ash and his friends about a high-speed tournament that is being held in the next town. The winner of the tournament will receive a rare Pokémon as a prize. Ash is excited about the prospect of participating in the tournament and decides to enter with Pikachu. The episode ends with the group looking forward to the tournament and the adventures that await them in the future.
