Ep 17. A Grand Debut!
Ash and his friends arrive at a new town called Funella Town, where they witness a grand ceremony taking place at the Funella Festival. It is there that they meet a young coordinator named Kanata, who has set his sights on winning the Funella Festival with his partner Pokemon, a Milotic.
Ash and Kanata have a friendly battle, allowing them to showcase their skills to the festival-goers. Meanwhile, Team Rocket has their eyes set on winning the festival's grand prize: a rare and valuable Pokemon egg.
As Kanata prepares for his big debut in the festival performances, Ash and his friends help him train and perfect his routine. However, they soon find out that another coordinator, named Therese, is also competing in the festival, and she is determined to win at any cost.
The festival begins, and Kanata wows the crowd with his beautiful performance alongside his Milotic. As the judges deliberate, Team Rocket tries to steal the valuable egg, but their plans are foiled by Ash and his friends.
In the end, Kanata is declared the winner of the Funella Festival, and he celebrates with his friends and Pokemon. As Ash and his friends prepare to continue on their journey, they wish Kanata luck in future competitions and hope to cross paths with him again.
