Ep 51. Pokemon Food Fight
Ash, Misty, and Brock continue their journey, making their way to Fuchsia City when they come across a strange town filled with exotic fruits and vegetables. The trio stops to try some of the local delicacies and ends up unknowingly stepping into the middle of a competitive food festival. The festival is in honor of a famous chef who is scheduled to judge and award the winning dish. However, Team Rocket is also attending the festival, and they have set their sights on stealing all of the exotic food for themselves.
As Ash, Misty, and Brock explore the festival, they discover that even the Pokémon are getting in on the food fun. Each Pokémon, from Caterpie to Charizard, has its own unique taste preferences and takes part in assisting the chefs in creating their dishes. The festivities come to a head when the grand prize dish is revealed, and it is none other than Pikachu's favorite food, ketchup.
Despite Team Rocket's attempts to disrupt the festival, Ash and his friends diligently work together to protect the food and keep the competition fair. In the end, they manage to save the festival and even catch a rare Pokémon as a reward for their efforts. The episode ends with the trio continuing their journey with happy stomachs and full hearts.
