Ep 49. Charizard Chills
Ash and his friends are on their way to Cinnabar Island when they stop at a nearby island to rest and to let their Pokemon play. As they are relaxing on the beach, Ash's Charizard starts acting strange and aggressive towards the other Pokemon. Ash realizes that Charizard is overheating and needs to cool down, but Charizard refuses to go near the water.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket has arrived on the island and is plotting to steal Ash's Pikachu. While they are spying on Ash and his friends, they witness Charizard's behavior and develop a plan to use Charizard's weakness to their advantage.
Ash and his friends decide to climb a nearby mountain in search of a legendary Pokemon, but Charizard is too tired and refuses to follow them. As they climb higher, they encounter a snowstorm and realize that the mountain is actually a dormant volcano. The group tries to find shelter, but Charizard is still too heated and causes a small explosion.
Team Rocket, who has been following the group, takes advantage of the situation and captures Charizard. They plan to use a special machine to drain Charizard's energy and power up their own Pokemon.
Ash and his friends, along with their other Pokemon, must now come up with a plan to rescue Charizard and stop Team Rocket. They form a makeshift sled and slide down the mountain, dodging obstacles and battling Team Rocket's Pokemon along the way.
In the end, Ash and his friends manage to rescue Charizard and defeat Team Rocket. Charizard finally cools down and returns to its usual, obedient self. The group continues on their journey to Cinnabar Island, but with a newfound appreciation for the strength and loyalty of their Pokemon.
