Ep 6. Battling on Thin Ice!

Ash and his friends have finally arrived at the Snowbelle City Gym, and are ready to challenge the Gym Leader to obtain their final badge in the Kalos region. The gym leader, Wulfric, is known for his powerful Ice-type Pokemon and the arena in which they battle is made entirely of ice. As soon as the group enters the gym, they are greeted by Wulfric's energetic granddaughter, who takes them to her grandfather's chamber.

Before the battle can begin, Wulfric teaches Ash and his friends about the history of the gym and their Ice-type Pokemon. He tells them that they have to be careful while battling since the icy arena is constantly changing, and one wrong step could lead to a fall and damage the Pokemon.

The first battle starts between Ash and Wulfric's Abomasnow. The battle is intense, with both sides giving it their all. However, as the battle progresses, the ice beneath the Pokemon's feet begins to crack and crumble, making it even more challenging for Ash to battle. With quick thinking and some unique strategies, Ash manages to win the first battle.

Next up is Serena, who battles against Wulfric's Cryogonal. The battle takes place in a different part of the arena that is filled with snow, making it slippery when the Pokemon are performing their attacks. Despite the odds, Serena manages to win with her Fennekin's Fire-type moves.

Afterwards, it is Clemont's turn. He battles against Wulfric's Avalugg, which is a massive Pokemon that towers over Clemont's team. The battle takes place on a thin layer of ice, which makes it even more treacherous for both trainers. Clemont uses his knowledge of science and technology to come up with a unique strategy to defeat Wulfric's Avalugg, and he emerges victorious.

Finally, it is Bonnie's turn to battle against Wulfric. She begins with her Dedenne but is quickly defeated. Bonnie decides to call upon her newly caught Squishy for help. Squishy, being a legendary Pokemon, puts up an impressive fight, but ultimately falls to Wulfric's powerful Ice-type attacks.

As the group is about to leave the gym, they are approached by a mysterious woman who tells them that she has been watching their battles and is impressed with their skills. She introduces herself as Malva, and reveals that she is one of the Elite Four - the strongest trainers in the Kalos Region. She tells them that they still have a long way to go before they can defeat the Elite Four and the Champion, Diantha, and that they should keep training hard.

The episode ends with Ash and his friends feeling more determined than ever to become even stronger and win the Kalos League.
