Ep 11. The Bamboozling Forest!

Ash and his friends arrive at the edges of the Kalos region, near the Santalune City, and they meet up with a new guide named Alexa, who's also a journalist and wants to document Ash's journey. Alexa tells them that the quickest way to Santalune City is through the Bamboozling Forest, but the forest is known for its powerful illusions and deceptions, which had even the explorers be lost for days on end.

As they enter the forest, their journey becomes more dangerous and confusing as they face its illusions, which include a river that changes its course every few minutes, trees that switch places, and even an illusion that turns Pikachu and Charmander into dolls. Ash and Froakie get separated from the group, and soon they encounter a woman named Penelope and her Fennekin, who are lost in the forest and have been wandering for days. Alexa and the rest of the group look for Ash and Froakie, but they also get lost in the confusion of the forest.

Meanwhile, Penelope and Fennekin guide Ash and Froakie out of the forest by using memory and tricking the illusions. They make it to a tree stump that is rumored to be a marker for anyone who's lost in the forest, and they find food and supplies that were left there by a previous lost traveler. With renewed strength, Ash and Froakie continue their journey, and they eventually rejoin the rest of the group.

As they exit the forest, they realize that they have bypassed the Santalune City and gone too far east. They decide to take a detour and explore a nearby moss-covered temple that is rumored to have a powerful aura that attracts Pokemon. They step inside and find that the temple houses many wild Pokemon, including a rare Inkay and Malamar. They also find a mysterious room with a giant crystal that glows with an intense aura.

Suddenly, the team Rocket arrives and attempts to steal the giant crystal, but Ash and his friends defend the temple and its Pokemon. During the fight, the crystal shatters, and the energy from the aura spreads out to the surrounding area, causing the wild Pokemon to evolve into their more powerful forms. Inkay evolves into Malamar, and Fletchling evolves into Fletchinder.

The episode ends with Ash and his friends continuing their journey towards Santalune City, with new companions, stronger Pokemon, and the knowledge of how to survive in the Bamboozling Forest.
