Ep 12. New Places...Familiar Faces!

Ash and his friends arrive in a new town, Lumiose City. The gang decides to split up to find new Pokémon, and Ash heads to a gym that he heard was offering a challenge.
When Ash arrives at the gym, he finds out that it's the Lumiose City Gym, and the gym leader is none other than Clemont, one of Ash's old friends from his journey through the Kalos region. Clemont is excited to see Ash and challenges him to a battle.
Ash and Clemont's battle is intense and exciting, with both trainers pushing their Pokémon to their limits. In the end, Ash and Pikachu come out on top, but Clemont is happy to have had a great battle with his old friend.
After the battle, Clemont takes Ash and his friends to the Lumiose City Tower, where they learn about the history of the city and some of its famous landmarks. Clemont also shows them his newest invention, a special machine that can power up Pokémon.
As they explore the city, they run into another old friend of Ash's, Serena. Serena is now a well-known Pokémon performer and is busy rehearsing for a big performance. Ash and his friends watch Serena practice, and they are amazed by her talent and skill.
After the performance, Ash and the gang run into another old friend, Bonnie. Bonnie is thrilled to see Ash again and introduces him to her new friend, Dedenne. Ash quickly becomes friends with Dedenne, and the group all head to dinner together.
At dinner, the gang catches up and reminisces about past adventures. They also discuss their plans for the future, and Ash tells them about his goal of becoming a Pokémon Master.
As the night draws to a close, Ash and his friends say their goodbyes and promise to meet up again soon. Ash heads back to the Lumiose City Gym, where he is surprised to find out that Clemont has become the gym leader. Ash congratulates Clemont on his new position and promises to come back to challenge him again.
The episode ends with Ash and Pikachu looking out over the city, excited for the new adventures that await them in Lumiose City and beyond.
