Ash and his friends continue their journey towards the Unova league, and they run into a young trainer named Cameron. He's an energetic kid with a lot of confidence in his own abilities, and he's certain that he's going to win the league. There's just one problem - he hasn't won a single battle yet.

Despite his lack of success, Cameron is determined to prove himself, and he's got a secret weapon - a powerful new Pokemon that he's been training in secret. But when they finally meet this so-called secret weapon, Ash and his friends are shocked to discover that it's actually a familiar face - one they thought they'd never see again.
