Ep 9. The Bloom Is On Axew!

Ash, Iris, and Cilan continue their journey towards Nimbasa City, but Axew can't seem to keep up with the rest of the group. As they take a break to enjoy the scenery, Axew runs off and discovers a beautiful field of flowers. However, a group of wild Pidove soon snatch him away and take him to their leader, a Tranquill.

The Tranquill reveals that the flowers in the field are special and are the reason why the Pidove have been staying in the area. Their leader is worried that they will wither and disappear, so he asks Axew for his help. The young Pokemon agrees and helps the Pidove by using his powerful nose to detect an underground water source that they can use to keep the flowers alive.

However, their mission isn't without its difficulties. A group of aggressive Swoobat attack the group and try to steal the flowers for themselves. Ash and his friends come to the rescue, and Ash challenges the Swoobat to a battle. With Pikachu's help, Ash is able to defeat the Swoobat and protect the flowers from harm.

In the end, the Tranquill and Pidove are grateful for Axew's help and allow him to take a flower to remember his adventure. Ash and his friends continue on their journey towards Nimbasa City, with Axew feeling more confident and strong after his successful mission.
