Ep 7. Snivy Plays Hard to Catch!

Ash and his friends continue on their journey towards Nimbasa City where Ash hopes to face off against its Gym Leader. Along the way, Ash sets his sights on capturing a new Pokemon, and finds himself drawn towards a Snivy that he spots in a nearby field. However, Snivy proves to be a difficult catch, adeptly dodging all of Ash's attempts to throw a Pokeball at it.

Undeterred, Ash continues to try and catch Snivy, even as his friends argue that he may be wasting his time. Meanwhile, a group of Team Rocket agents are also after Snivy, hoping to capture it for their own purposes. As Ash continues to pursue Snivy, he finds himself at odds with Team Rocket, and eventually comes to a showdown with the group in a forest clearing.

Despite Ash's best efforts, Snivy continues to elude him, slipping out of his grasp time and time again. However, as he battles Team Rocket, Ash begins to notice the cunning and intelligence of Snivy, and starts to develop a newfound respect for the Pokemon. Gradually, the two begin to develop a connection, and Ash begins to understand what makes Snivy tick.

As the episode continues, Ash and Snivy grow gradually closer, with Ash learning more about the various strengths and weaknesses that Snivy possesses. Meanwhile, Team Rocket also continues to pursue Snivy, deciding to use a more underhanded tactic in order to capture the Pokemon. As the two groups come into conflict once more, Ash and Snivy are forced to work together in order to fend off Team Rocket's machinations.

Ultimately, Ash manages to catch Snivy, earning a new ally on his journey and showcasing the growth that he has undergone as a trainer. However, as the episode comes to a close, it becomes clear that the challenges that lay ahead will be even greater than any that Ash and his friends have faced before, and that they will need all the strength they can muster in order to overcome them.
