In Pokemon season 14 episode 10, Ash and his friends have reached the Nimbasa City in the Unova region where they have heard about a special gym where battles are fought in different forms of dance. Ash is very excited and wants to participate in a battle there to win the Club Champ Badge. The gym leader Elesa is also the fashion model for her own clothing line and has a huge fan following, including Ash's female friend Iris. Ash takes on Elesa's challenge which involves winning a Double Battle against two of her other trainers.
While the battle is intense, Ash can't seem to get the hang of the dance-based moves and his Pokemon just can't seem to work together. Meanwhile, Ash's childhood friend/rival Gary Oak makes a surprise appearance in Nimbasa and decides to challenge Ash to a battle. Though Gary has not been seen for a long time, he has trained hard and has some new and powerful Pokemon. This battle is going to be the one everyone remembers!
The stage is set for a fierce and competitive showdown between the two rivals. Both Ash and Gary are very excited to finally face each other again after all these years. The two get ready with their Pokemon, and Ash sends out his Tranquill and Palpitoad while Gary sends out his Eevee and Umbreon. The battle is intense and goes back and forth, with both sides managing to inflict some damage. Gary's Umbreon proves tough for Ash's Palpitoad to handle, but Ash fights back with Tranquill's Aerial Ace.
As the battle continues, the crowd becomes more and more engaged, cheering for their favorite trainer. The battle takes an unexpected turn when Gary's Eevee evolves into a powerful Espeon, which takes on Palpitoad and almost defeats it. But Ash is not one to give up easily and comes up with a new strategy using Palpitoad's Mud Bomb to blind Espeon's vision. This strategy works, and Ash finally manages to get the upper hand in the battle.
The battle continues into a final showdown between Ash's Pikachu and Gary's Blastoise. The two trainers unleash all their Pokemon's power, and the fight becomes more and more intense. Pikachu manages to outsmart Blastoise several times, dodging its powerful attacks and landing some critical hits of its own. In the end, Pikachu emerges victorious, and Ash finally defeats his old rival Gary.
Both trainers congratulate each other on a great battle and reminisce about their past experiences. Gary tells Ash that he is very impressed with his new skills and compliments him on how much he has grown as a trainer. Ash thanks him and tells him that he is always welcome to come back and battle him again. With this, the episode comes to a heartwarming end, leaving audiences cheering and excited for the next one.
