Ep 33. All Dressed Up With Somewhere to Go

Ash and friends head to the city of Chocovine Town for May's next Pokemon Contest. After arriving, they meet up with old friends Drew and Harley, both of whom are entering the contest as well. Harley brags about his newly evolved Cacturne and Drew shows off his new Roserade. May gets discouraged by their confidence and worries that her own Pokemon might not be strong enough to compete.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket has also arrived in Chocovine Town and are up to their usual shenanigans. They come across a girl named Nicolette who is trying to deliver a dress to her sister for the upcoming contest. Team Rocket sees this as an opportunity to steal the dress and make some quick cash. They trick Nicolette into giving them the dress and take off.

As May is preparing for the contest, she realizes that she forgot her dress at home. She panics and starts to lose confidence in herself and her Pokemon once again. Ash and the gang offer to help her find a replacement dress, but they are also busy preparing for their own events.

While searching for a dress, Jessie from Team Rocket mistakenly thinks that May's Pikachu is the one who stole the dress. She chases after Pikachu, causing chaos throughout the town. Ash and the gang hear the commotion and rush to the scene just in time to see Jessie making a getaway on her motorbike. They give chase on their own bikes and eventually catch up to her.

After a brief battle, Ash and Pikachu manage to defeat Jessie's Seviper and Yanmega, causing her to blast off again. They return the dress to Nicolette, who is grateful for their help. May is able to compete in the contest and puts on a great performance with her Pokemon. She is awarded the Ribbon for her efforts and gains back some of her confidence.

The episode ends with Ash and friends saying goodbye to Drew and Harley and heading off to their next adventure.
