Ep 24. Cooking Up a Sweet Story

Ash and his friends have reached a new town and are excited to explore it. They stop by a new candy store and Ash instantly takes a liking to the sweet treats sold there. He is surprised to find out that the store is run by an elderly woman named Edna who used to be a famous baker but has now retired from the profession.
Edna invites Ash and his friends to a cooking competition that is being held in the town, and Ash is thrilled to participate. The competition is judged by a famous food critic named Oren who is known to be extremely strict in his judgement. The contestants are given the task of making a dish from scratch using ingredients that are provided to them.
Ash decides to make a dessert dish and is confident in his abilities as he had been studying recipes from his mother's cookbook. However, when the competition begins, Ash finds it difficult to execute his plan as he keeps getting interrupted by his Pokemon and his attention keeps getting diverted. Meanwhile, Team Rocket, who had also entered the competition, are determined to win and have come up with a devious plan to cheat their way to victory.
As the competition progresses, it becomes clear that Ash is struggling to keep up with the other contestants. He starts to doubt his abilities and begins to get demotivated. But just when all hope seems lost, Edna steps in and offers to help Ash with his cooking.
Together, Ash and Edna work on the dessert dish and their teamwork pays off as they are able to come up with a dish that impresses the judges. Oren, the strict food critic, is especially impressed and even compliments Ash on his cooking.
Team Rocket, who had been up to no good, is caught trying to cheat and is disqualified from the competition. Ash and his friends are declared the winners and are rewarded with a year's supply of candies from Edna's store.
As the episode comes to an end, Ash is grateful to Edna for her help and is inspired by her spirit of never giving up on her passion for cooking. He learns an important lesson that even when things get tough, it is important to keep going and not give up on your dreams.
