Ep 47. Who Gets To Keep Togepi?

After a long journey, Ash and his friends arrive in a new town and decide to take a break in a local park. While playing around, they stumble upon a young and cute Togepi that seems to have lost its way. The gang tries to help the little Pokemon find its owner, but no one comes forward to claim it.

As time passes, the Togepi becomes very attached to Misty and starts following her everywhere. Misty, who has always wanted a Togepi, is delighted and decides to keep it as her own. However, the others in the group also express their interest in keeping Togepi, stating various reasons.

A battle breaks out among the gang, with each member trying to outdo the others and prove that they are the most suitable candidate to keep Togepi. Misty argues that she has a more profound bond with Togepi than the others and that she should be the rightful owner.

Meanwhile, Ash argues that he is the one who discovered Togepi and that it should rightfully belong to him. Brock, on the other hand, believes that he is the most responsible member of the group and that he can take good care of the little Pokemon.

As the arguments continue, they eventually turn into a battle between their respective Pokemon teams. The group agrees that the winner of the battle will get to keep Togepi.

The competition is fierce with Ash, Misty, and Brock showing off their skills in the battle. However, it soon dawns on them that the battle is not worth risking Togepi's safety. They all come to the realization that none of them can be solely responsible for Togepi's well-being and that it belongs to all of them as a group.

In the end, Togepi itself decides where it wants to go. The little Pokemon jumps from one member to another until it finally settles in Misty's arms. The gang accepts Togepi's decision, and they all agree to take care of it together as a team.

The episode ends with the group setting off on their journey once again, with Togepi now part of their team.
