Ep 10. Bulbasaur and the Hidden Village
Ash, Misty, and Brock take a break from their travels to rest at a nearby Pokemon Center when they discover an injured Bulbasaur. The group immediately takes Bulbasaur to the Center for treatment. During their visit, they learn of a hidden village where injured and abandoned Pokemon are cared for. Intrigued by the idea of a secret village, Ash and his friends set out to find it.
As they make their way through the forest, they come across a young girl named Melanie who is searching for her lost Rhyhorn. She joins the group as they continue on their journey to find the hidden village.
Upon arriving at the village, Ash and his friends are surprised to find that all of its inhabitants are Grass-type Pokemon, with Bulbasaur being the only exception. The Pokemon in the village are extremely friendly and quickly welcome the group.
However, the peace is short-lived when a group of trainers arrive at the village with plans to capture all of the Pokemon residing there. The head trainer, Damian, reveals that he's the one who abandoned Bulbasaur and is now seeking to recapture it.
Ash and his friends refuse to let the village be taken over by the trainers and vow to protect the Pokemon. After a tough battle, Ash's Bulbasaur emerges victorious, and Damian is forced to retreat.
As a result of the battle, Bulbasaur decides to stay in the hidden village to help care for the other Pokemon who live there. Though Ash is saddened to see him go, he knows that Bulbasaur is in good hands and will be happy in his new home.
The episode ends with Ash and his friends continuing on their journey, now with a newfound respect for the importance of giving all Pokemon the care and love they deserve.
