Ep 3. It's All in the Name!

Ash and his friends continue their journey in the third episode of Pokemon: Ultimate Journeys: The Series, titled "It's All in the Name!" This episode sees Ash, Goh, and Chloe headed to the Galar region to participate in a special event known as the "Name Rater Rally."

Finally, it's Ash's turn, and he steps onto the stage with Pikachu by his side. The Name Rater takes one look at Pikachu's name and is impressed by its simplicity and uniqueness. He declares it one of the best names he's ever seen and awards Ash a prize for his exceptional naming skills.

Next up is Goh, who brings out his newly caught Scorbunny. However, the Name Rater is not impressed with Scorbunny's name, noting that it lacks creativity and doesn't fully capture the Pokemon's playful and energetic personality. Despite this setback, Goh vows to come up with a better name for his beloved companion.

Last but not least, it's Chloe's turn, and she brings out her Yamper. The Name Rater takes one look at Yamper's name and is blown away by its cleverness. He declares it the best name of the entire rally and awards Chloe the grand prize.

After the rally, the Name Rater takes a moment to speak with the group. He tells them that a Pokemon's name is more than just a collection of letters, that it's a reflection of the bond between a trainer and their companion. He urges them to put thought and care into naming their Pokemon, as it can greatly impact their journey together.
