Ep 5. In the Knicker of Time!

Ash, May, Max, and Brock are on their way to Fortree City when they stumble upon a small town called Knickerbocker Village. The town is known for their Pokémon Contest and Ash and May decide to participate. As they explore the town, they notice something odd going on. Wally, a familiar face from their past, is also in the village. They learn that the town is experiencing a shortage of berries due to a swarm of Munchlax. The Munchlax are devouring all the berries in sight and the villagers are unable to do anything about it.

As a result, the town is unable to prepare for their annual Pokémon Contest. Ash and May team up with Wally to help the villagers. They devise a plan to keep the Munchlax away from the berry plants by creating a barrier using ropes and balloons. Meanwhile, Brock and Max try to find a solution to the berry shortage issue. They discover a patch of berries that the Munchlax have yet to reach and decide to use that as a source for the contestants.

With the help of the villagers, Ash, May, and Wally are able to create the barrier and keep the Munchlax away from the berry plants. However, during the contest, the Munchlax break through the barrier and start devouring the berry plants again. To save the contest, Ash and his Pokémon use their skills and ingenuity to create a jam from the remaining berries. They use the jam to lure the Munchlax away from the contest area and into the forest.

With the Munchlax problem resolved, the contestants are finally able to showcase their Pokémon. May and Ash both make it to the final round of the contest, but in the end, May emerges as the winner. The villagers thank Ash and his friends for their help and reward them with a batch of fresh berries.

With their mission accomplished, Ash and his friends continue on their journey to Fortree City, excited for their next adventure.
