Ep 36. The Spheal of Approval

Ash and his friends head towards Pacifidlog Island, home to a unique Pokemon habitat. May is excited to participate in the upcoming Pokemon Contest, while Ash is determined to catch his next Pokemon. Along the way, they come across a group of Spheal and are impressed by their playful nature.

As they approach the island, they notice strange weather patterns and rough terrain. The group makes their way to the Contest Hall where they meet up with Drew and his Roselia. Drew tells them about the weather conditions on the island and how it affects the Pokemon habitat.

May enters the Contest using her Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Combusken. She is nervous but determined to do her best. The competition is fierce, but May's performance is impressive, and she makes it to the final round. Her opponent is a skilled trainer with a powerful Hariyama. The battle is intense, but May comes out on top, winning the contest.

Meanwhile, Ash is on the hunt for a new Pokemon. He and Pikachu come across a Spheal that seems to be lost. They try to help it find its way back to its group, but the Spheal is too scared to follow them. Ash decides to stick around and observe the Spheal's behavior. He notices that it is trying to communicate something to him. With the help of his Pokedex, Ash discovers that the Spheal is trying to lead him to a sacred site on the island.

At the same time, Team Rocket is trying to catch wild Pokemon on the island to add to their collection. They come across a group of Spheal and attempt to capture them. Ash and his friends intervene, and a battle ensues. The Spheal work together to defeat Team Rocket and protect their home.

After the battle, Ash and his friends follow the Spheal to the sacred site. They discover a beautiful ice cave where a rare Pokemon, Spheal's evolution Sealeo, resides. The group realizes that the Spheal had been trying to lead them to this cave all along. Ash decides to catch the Sealeo, but it puts up a tough fight. In the end, Ash is successful, and he adds Sealeo to his team.

As the episode comes to a close, the group heads back to shore, happy with their accomplishments. May is thrilled with her Contest victory, Ash has caught a new Pokemon, and the Spheal are safe in their habitat once again. The group looks forward to their next adventure together.
