Ep 23. Gone Corphishin'

In Pokemon the Series season 6 episode 23, titled "Gone Corphishin'," our favorite trainer Ash Ketchum and his friends Brock and May are on the hunt for a new Pokemon to catch. They stumble upon a river where they see a school of Corphish swimming. Ash decides that he wants to catch one of them, and so he and his friends devise a plan to bait the Corphish. Using bread, they lure a Corphish onto the shore, but things quickly take a wrong turn when Team Rocket appears on the scene.
Team Rocket, as always, are up to no good, and they want to steal the Corphish for themselves. They send out their Pokemon to attack Ash and his friends, and in the chaos, the Corphish they were trying to catch escapes. To make matters worse, Ash's Pikachu gets separated from the group during the attack.
Determined to find Pikachu and the lost Corphish, Ash and his friends split up to search the surrounding area. May comes across a group of locals who inform her that they have seen a Corphish wandering around their village. They welcome May into their village and invite her to stay for the night while she waits for her friends to arrive. However, when Ash and Brock arrive, they are not as welcomed.
The villagers tell Ash and Brock that they are not allowed to stay in the village because of their reputation as Pokemon trainers. The villagers believe that trainers cause trouble and exploit Pokemon for their own gain. Ash and Brock are shocked by this, as they have always respected and cared for their Pokemon.
Meanwhile, Pikachu is lost in the nearby forest, trying to find his way back to Ash and his friends. He stumbles upon a group of wild Pokemon who are being threatened by a group of poachers. The poachers want to capture the Pokemon and sell them on the black market, but Pikachu is able to intervene and save the day.
Back in the village, May begins to suspect that something is not right. She overhears the villagers talking about a secret plan to capture the Corphish and use them for their own benefit. May realizes that the Corphish they saw in the river earlier was just a decoy to lure trainers like Ash into the village.
May rushes to find Ash and Brock to warn them, but the villagers have already captured Ash and plan to capture Brock too. May is able to formulate a plan to rescue her friends and the captured Corphish. In a thrilling action-packed sequence, Ash, Brock, and May use their Pokemon to battle the villagers and free the Corphish. Pikachu eventually finds his way back to the group and helps in the fight.
In the end, Ash succeeds in catching a Corphish, and the group sets off on their next adventure. "Gone Corphishin'" is a heartwarming episode that explores the themes of prejudice and the importance of treating Pokemon with kindness and respect.
