Ep 16. The Winner by a Nosepass

In episode 16 of season 6 of Pokemon the Series titled "The Winner By a Nosepass," Ash and his friends arrive in the beautiful city of Mauville. The most exciting event happening in the city catches their attention right away - the Mauville Pokemon Contest. Naturally, they decide to participate in the contest with their Pokemon.

May is determined to win this time, but before she even has a chance to enter the contest, she faces a challenge when her Torchic suddenly stops obeying her commands. They soon discover that it is because Torchic is starting to evolve into Combusken, which can sometimes result in temporary disobedience.

Meanwhile, Jessie, James, and Meowth decide that it is time for them to put their own plan into action. They come up with the idea of disguising themselves as judges for the Pokemon contest and rigging it so that they can win.

As the competition heats up, May's Combusken becomes increasingly disobedient, leading her to have to come up with new strategies on the fly. She eventually decides to utilize Combusken's newly developed skills to give her the edge in the contest.

While all of this is happening, a mysterious Nosepass appears and begins to wreak havoc on the contestants. It is up to Ash and his friends to stop the Nosepass and prevent any further damage from occurring during the contest.
