Ep 12. The Lotad Lowdown

As Ash and his companions continue their journey through the Hoenn region, they stumble upon a group of Lotad who are gathering around a pond. As they approach, they soon realize that the Lotad are in distress and are trying to save their home from being destroyed.

The group learns that a company known as the Pudgy Pidgey Pallet Company plans to drain the pond and turn the area into a factory. As they speak with the Lotad, Ash and his friends learn that the water from the pond is used to supply water to the entire town and if it were drained, the town would be left without water.

Determined to help the Lotad and the town, Ash and his friends soon find themselves in the middle of a battle against Team Rocket who plan to steal the Lotad. With the help of their Pokemon, they manage to fight off Team Rocket and rescue the Lotad.

As they try to come up with a plan to stop the Pudgy Pidgey Pallet Company, they discover that the company's owner, Colonel Hansen, is a Pokemon Trainer who has never lost a battle. In order to convince him to stop the construction, Ash challenges Colonel Hansen to a battle.

In what seems to be an impossible battle, Ash's Pikachu and Colonel Hansen's Blaziken face off. The battle is intense, but in the end, Ash's Pikachu is victorious. Impressed by Ash's skills and determination, Colonel Hansen agrees to meet with the Lotad and come up with a solution that will satisfy everyone.

In the end, the Lotad are saved, the town's water is safe, and the Pudgy Pidgey Pallet Company agrees to build their factory somewhere else. As Ash and his friends continue on their journey, they realize that sometimes the smallest Pokemon can have the biggest impact in the world.
