Ep 1. Get the Show on the Road!

In the first episode of season 6 of Pokemon the Series, titled "Get the Show on the Road!", Ash and Pikachu are once again on the move and exploring a new region: Hoenn. They arrive in a small town called Littleroot Town, which becomes their base of operations for the season.
Upon their arrival, Ash meets a new character named May, who is just beginning her own Pokemon journey. May initially isn't interested in becoming a trainer, but after witnessing Ash's passion for Pokemon battling, she is inspired to try it out for herself.
In this episode, Ash and May both obtain their very first Pokemon. May chooses Torchic, a Fire-type Pokemon, while Ash acquires a Treecko, a Grass-type Pokemon. They then begin their journey through Hoenn with these new companions.
Along the way, they encounter a group of Pokemon thieves, known as Team Rocket. Jessie, James, and Meowth are up to their usual tricks, devising a plan to steal as many Pokemon as they can. However, Ash and his friends are able to foil their plan and send them blasting off again.
Throughout the episode, Ash and May also encounter several wild Pokemon, including a cute Wurmple and a mischievous Zigzagoon. Ash offers to help May catch the Wurmple, but she declines and decides to focus on training Torchic instead.
Overall, "Get the Show on the Road!" sets the stage for Ash and May's adventures throughout Hoenn. It introduces new Pokemon, new characters, and new challenges for them to face together. With his trusty Pikachu by his side, Ash is ready to take on whatever comes his way in this new region.
