Ep 65. Hoenn Alone!

Ash, May, Max, and Brock arrive at a town where they find out that Ash must compete in a battle to earn his fifth gym badge in the Hoenn region. However, the gym is closed and the gym leader is nowhere to be found. Ash and his friends split up to search for clues about where the gym leader may be.

May and Max come across a group of trainers who are looking for the gym leader as well. They explain that the gym leader is known for going on long journeys and they believe he may be in a nearby forest. May and Max decide to join the group and head into the forest.

Meanwhile, Ash and Brock visit the local Pokemon Center to inquire about the gym leader's whereabouts. The Nurse Joy tells them that the gym leader has a habit of going on unexpected journeys and may have left the town altogether. Ash becomes worried about not being able to compete for his badge and insists on finding the gym leader.

As Ash and Brock leave the Pokemon Center, they hear a commotion outside. They rush to see what's happening and find that a group of wild Pokemon are attacking the town. Ash realizes that he must step in to protect the town and begins battling the wild Pokemon.

During the battle, Ash notices that one of the Pokemon is injured. He helps the Pokemon and realizes that it is the gym leader's Pokemon. He decides to follow the Pokemon and find the gym leader.

After a long search, Ash finally finds the gym leader in a nearby cave. The gym leader is relieved to see Ash and thanks him for taking care of his Pokemon. Ash explains that he needs to battle the gym leader for his fifth badge. The gym leader agrees to the battle and the two trainers begin their match.

The battle proves to be difficult for Ash as the gym leader's Pokemon are strong and well-trained. However, Ash's determination and quick thinking ultimately earn him the win and his fifth badge.

As Ash and his friends leave the town, they reflect on their journey so far and look forward to their next adventure in the Hoenn region.
