Ep 13. A Promise is a Promise

Ash and his friends arrive in a town where some of the houses appear to be sinking into the ground. It turns out that there's a nearby cave that is home to a group of Baltoy and Claydol who are using their psychic powers to keep the town from sinking completely. However, the leader of the group, a giant Claydol, is injured and unable to use its powers anymore.

The townspeople are skeptical of the Pokemon's abilities, but Ash and the gang decide to help out by finding a special herb that can heal the Claydol. They venture into the cave and battle some wild Pokemon along the way, but eventually find the herb and use it to heal the giant Claydol.

The Baltoy and Claydol are grateful for their help and ask Ash and his friends to stay in the town for a festival they're having the next day as a way of thanking them. However, one of the townspeople, a little girl, is upset because her father, who promised to come to the festival with her, hasn't shown up yet.

Ash and his friends learn that the girl's father is an archeologist who has discovered some ancient ruins in a nearby desert. They offer to help the girl find her father and, after some searching, they find him at the ruins, but he's been trapped by some falling rocks.

The group works together to free the man and they all return to the town just in time for the festival. The little girl is overjoyed to be reunited with her father and Ash and his friends are honored guests at the celebration.

In the end, Ash and his friends bid farewell to the town and set off on their next adventure.
