Ep 48. The Kecleon Caper

Ash, Pikachu, and friends find themselves in a bustling city that is known for its fashion district. They take a break from their travels to explore the city and its novelty shops. As they wander around, they notice an unusual shop that seems to be selling all kinds of stolen goods. Curious, they enter the shop and find themselves face to face with a Kecleon, a chameleon Pokemon that can change its color to blend into its surroundings.

The Kecleon seems to be the owner of the shop and is selling goods that have been stolen from various shops around the city. Ash and his friends are shocked and disgusted by the Kecleon's behavior, but before they can do anything, the Kecleon uses its color-changing ability to disappear.

Determined to catch the thief, Ash and his friends decide to split up and search the city for the Kecleon. Misty and Brock go to the local police station to report the thefts, while Ash and Pikachu continue searching the city. They quickly find a clue in the form of a strange mark left on one of the stolen items. They follow the trail of marks and eventually find themselves outside a large tower in the center of the city.

They enter the tower and find themselves in the middle of a massive laboratory. As they explore the lab, they discover that it is being used by a group of scientists to study the Kecleon's color-changing abilities. The scientists have been capturing Kecleon from around the city and using them for their experiments.

Ash and Pikachu are outraged by the scientists' treatment of the Kecleon and decide to put a stop to it. With the help of the Kecleon they encountered earlier, they manage to free the other Kecleon from the lab and return them to their natural habitat.

The Kecleon Caper ends with Ash and his friends leaving the city, satisfied that they have put a stop to the Kecleon's thieving ways and helped to protect the Pokemon population from exploitation.
