Ep 11. Hook, Line and Stinker

In this episode of Pokemon the Series, Ash and his friends arrive at the Fuchsia City Gym ready to battle for a badge. However, upon their arrival they are notified of a problem in the nearby river. It seems that a group of fishermen are having trouble catching any fish because of a weird smell coming from the water.

Interested in helping out, Ash and his friends set out to investigate the issue. Along the way, they meet a local fisherman named Mateo, who offers to take them to the source of the smell. Once they arrive, they discover that the river has been polluted by a group of Team Rocket members who are using it as a dumping ground for their toxic waste.

Determined to put a stop to Team Rocket's plan, Ash and his friends team up with Mateo and his trusty fishing rod to try and catch the culprits in the act. After several failed attempts, they finally manage to reel in a strange looking Pokemon known as Qwilfish, which seems to be the source of the pollution.

With the help of Mateo's knowledge and Ash's quick thinking, they manage to restore the river to its natural state and catch the Team Rocket members in the act. The episode ends with Ash and his friends heading back to the Fuchsia City Gym, ready to continue their journey and earn their next badge.
