- February 25, 2019
In this exciting episode of Pokemon the Series season 21, titled "A Plethora of Pikachu!", the gang finds themselves in the bustling city of Fuchsia. As they explore, they notice that there seem to be an unusual number of Pikachu roaming around. Ash and Pikachu are especially excited about this, but their joy soon turns to confusion when they realize that there are more Pikachu than can possibly be explained by the city's size and population.
The gang decides to investigate this phenomenon and sets out to discover what could be causing it. Along the way, they meet a group of local trainers who have been studying the Pikachu population and have noticed some strange behavior. They explain to Ash and his friends that the Pikachu seem to be gathering in certain places at specific times of day.
Intrigued, the gang decides to follow these Pikachu and see where they are going. They quickly find themselves in a dense forest where the Pikachu are gathering around a giant, ancient tree. As they approach the tree, they notice that the Pikachu are all staring up at something above them.
Suddenly, a massive flock of birds bursts out of the tree's branches, causing the Pikachu to scatter in all directions. The gang looks up and sees that the birds are none other than the elusive Lugia and Ho-Oh.
As Ash and his friends watch in amazement, the legendary Pokemon begin to battle each other in mid-air. The battle is intense, and it seems that neither Lugia nor Ho-Oh has the advantage. Just as the battle reaches its climax, a strange energy blast shoots out from the tree and knocks both Pokemon out of the sky.
Ash and his friends run over to where the Pokemon are lying on the ground. They are unconscious but seem to be unharmed. As the gang wonders what could have caused the energy blast, they hear a rustling in the bushes nearby.
Out walks a mysterious figure who introduces herself as Zeraora. Zeraora explains that she is a legendary Pokemon who has been living in the forest for centuries. She has been keeping watch over the tree and the Pikachu who live there. She reveals that the Pikachu are drawn to the tree because of its powerful, rejuvenating energy.
Zeraora goes on to explain that Lugia and Ho-Oh are here because they want to harness the power of the tree for themselves. She has been doing her best to keep them at bay but was not able to stop them from engaging in battle.
Ash and his friends are amazed by Zeraora's story and are eager to help protect the tree and the Pikachu who live in the forest. Together with Zeraora, they decide to launch a surprise attack on Lugia and Ho-Oh to drive them away.
The battle is intense, but with Zeraora's help, Ash and his friends are able to defeat the two legendary Pokemon. As they stand victorious, Ash realizes that this is exactly what he loves about being a Pokemon trainer - the chance to see rare and incredible Pokemon in action, and to work together with his friends and other trainers to protect them.
As the gang turns to leave the forest, they see that all of the Pikachu have gathered to watch them. Ash and Pikachu can't help but smile as they realize that they have made some new friends for life.
