Ep 37. A Fishing Connoisseur in a Fishy Competition!

Ash, Iris, and Cilan are enjoying their journey to Nacrene City, where Ash is hoping to earn his fourth Unova Gym Badge. Along the way, they come across a fishing competition being held by the Fishing Connoisseur, Cress. Cress invites them to join in on the competition, explaining that the winner will receive an exclusive fishing rod.

Excited by the opportunity, Ash and Cilan enter the competition, but Iris decides to sit this one out, stating that fishing is not her thing. The competition begins, and Ash and Cilan quickly get to work, using their skills and expertise to catch various types of fish.

Despite their best efforts, however, Ash and Cilan find themselves struggling to catch the biggest fish of the competition, a rare Basculin that has eluded them both. Meanwhile, Iris decides to explore the nearby woods, but soon finds herself in trouble when a group of wild Pokemon surround her.

Back at the competition, Ash and Cilan continue to fish, but as time runs out, it seems that they will not be able to catch the Basculin. However, just as the competition is about to end, Ash gets a bite on his line and manages to reel in the elusive fish.

Overjoyed by his victory, Ash is presented with the exclusive fishing rod by Cress, who congratulates him on his impressive catch. Meanwhile, Iris manages to make her way back to the competition just in time to witness Ash's win.

In the end, Ash and his friends continue on their journey, with Ash now in possession of a powerful new fishing rod. Though they face many challenges and obstacles along the way, they are determined to become the best trainers they can be and achieve their ultimate goal of becoming Pokemon Masters.
