Ep 10. Teaching the Student Teacher!

Ash and his friends arrive at a new town where Ash hopes to battle for his 8th Gym Badge. However, they soon discover that the Gym Leader is actually absent, so they decide to explore the town in the meantime. While wandering around, they come across a school where they meet Angie, a young, enthusiastic student teacher who is trying her best to teach a class of rowdy kids.

Angie reveals to Ash and his friends that she is actually training to become a Gym Leader, and that she hopes to battle Ash in the future. She also tells them that she is struggling to get her class under control, so Ash and his friends offer to help her out. Ash and Pikachu lead the class in some exercises and games, while Dawn teaches them about Pokémon contests, and Brock teaches them about cooking.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket sets their sights on stealing Angie's Pikachu, but they soon realize that its disobedience is too much for them to handle. They decide to instead capture the rest of Angie's class, hoping to use them as leverage to get Pikachu. However, Ash and his friends catch Team Rocket in the act and they team up to rescue the captured students.

In the end, Ash and his friends successfully manage to help Angie control her class and they all celebrate their newfound friendship. Ash promises to come back and battle Angie when she becomes a Gym Leader, and they all part ways.
