Ep 34. A Faux Oak Finish!

Ash and his friends arrive at a small village which is famous for its wood carving. As they roam around, they notice that a lot of people are visiting a store run by a craftsman named Oakley. On enquiry, they find out that Oakley is the best woodcarver in the village and his store has a huge collection of masterpieces which are being sold at a very high price. The group is intrigued and decides to pay a visit to Oakley's store.

As they enter the store, they are amazed by the intricate designs and beautiful carvings. Oakley explains that all these carvings are made from the wood of a special tree which is only found in a nearby forest. He also shares that he is planning to create a masterpiece which will be the most expensive piece of art he has ever made and he is going to use the wood from that special tree for it. Everyone is impressed by Oakley's talent and decides to help him in his mission.

Oakley takes the group to the forest where the special tree is located. As they walk through the forest, they see that the tree is guarded by a group of wild Pokémon. In order to get the wood, Oakley needs to distract the Pokémon while Ash and his friends collect the wood. However, as they start collecting the wood, they realize that it is very heavy and they can't carry it all the way back to the village. Oakley has an idea and he asks them to leave the wood in the forest and he will come back for it later with a vehicle that can carry it.

As they leave the forest, they notice that Oakley is behaving strangely. He seems to be possessive of the wood and is not willing to let anyone else touch it. Ash and his friends find this strange but they ignore it and help Oakley take the wood to his store. Once they reach the store, Oakley thanks them for their help and promises to pay them for it. However, he also tells them to leave and not come back till he finishes his masterpiece.

As they leave the store, they notice that Oakley has become increasingly obsessed with the wood. He spends all his time working on his masterpiece and has stopped attending to his customers. The group decides to investigate and sneak into the store when Oakley is not there. They are shocked to discover that Oakley's masterpiece is not made of the wood from the special tree but is a fake. They also find out that Oakley has been stealing carvings from other stores in the village and selling them as his own.

The group decides to confront Oakley and they challenge him to a battle. Oakley accepts and they battle it out with their Pokémon. In the end, the group emerges victorious and Oakley admits to his crimes. He apologizes and promises to return all the stolen carvings. Ash and his friends forgive him and decide to help him in making a genuine masterpiece made of the wood from the special tree.

They return to the forest and collect the wood again. Oakley is grateful and promises to make a masterpiece that will bring honor to his village. The group decides to stay back and help Oakley in the carving process. As they carve the wood, they discover that the wood has some special properties. It seems to be alive and responds to the carvings they make. In the end, they create a masterpiece which is not only beautiful but also has a life of its own.

As they leave the village, Ash and his friends are glad that they were able to help Oakley in creating a genuine masterpiece. They are also reminded of the beauty of nature and the wonders that it holds.
