Ep 1. Get Your Rotom Running!

Ash and his friends, on the other hand, believe in befriending and working with Pokemon, rather than forcing them to obey. Their differing philosophies lead to a tense showdown between Paul and Ash, but ultimately, Ash's kindness and compassion win out, and Rotom willingly joins his team.

The episode ends with Ash and his friends bidding farewell to Angie and the newly caught Rotom, as they continue their journey towards the next gym badge.
