Ep 5. Bibarel Gnaws Best!

Ash, Dawn, and Brock, in their continuing quest in the Sinnoh region, come across a group of Bidoof. Ash decides to capture one for his team, but his attempts are unsuccessful thanks to the interference of the group's leader, a Bibarel. While Ash tries to capture Bidoof, Dawn catches the eye of the Bibarel, who's very attracted to her Piplup.

Dawn and the gang venture off to the next town, where they're met with a shocking site: The town is in ruins, and the trees in the surrounding area have been gnawed down. It turns out that a group of Bibarel, led by the same Bibarel they met earlier, have been causing the destruction, and the town is in dire need of help.

Dawn suggests using her Piplup to communicate with the Bibarel leader, and explain that their actions are causing harm to the town and its inhabitants. The group sets off to negotiate with the Bibarel, but things quickly become complicated. The Bibarel are set in their ways, and they have no interest in stopping their destructive behavior.
