Ash and his friends have arrived in a new town, and they are all excited to explore what this place has to offer. As they make their way through the streets, they come across a unique Pokemon center that's run by none other than Brock's father! Brock hasn't seen his father in years, and he's thrilled to reunite with him.

However, Brock's father is far from thrilled to see his son. He's angry with Brock for leaving home and abandoning his responsibilities as a Pokemon breeder. But when a sick Pokemon arrives at the center, Brock's father realizes that his son's skills as a Pokemon doctor might come in handy.

The Pokemon in question is a Kecleon who's unable to use its camouflage ability. Brock takes charge of the situation and diagnoses the Kecleon with a rare ailment. He works tirelessly to find a cure, and his father is impressed with his knowledge and skills. As Brock continues to care for the Kecleon, he and his father start to bond once again.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket has set their sights on the Pokemon center. They plan on stealing all the Pokemon and selling them for a profit. However, their plans are quickly foiled when the Kecleon reveals that it has a special ability to turn invisible. With the help of the Kecleon, Ash and his friends are able to defeat Team Rocket once again.

In the end, Brock's father realizes that his son has found his true calling as a Pokemon doctor and is proud of him. Brock decides to stay at the center for a while to hone his skills and continue helping sick Pokemon. The episode ends with Brock bidding farewell to Ash and his friends as they continue on their journey.
