Ep 41. Playing the Leveling Field

On this episode of Pokemon the Series, Ash and his friends find themselves in a town known for its competitive battling and training. However, they quickly discover that the town is split into two factions - those who train their Pokemon traditionally and those who use a new technology called the Battle Trainer to enhance their Pokemon's abilities.

While exploring the town, Ash and his friends meet a young trainer named Angie who is struggling to train her Blissey using traditional methods. Sensing an opportunity to help, Ash and his friends offer to train with Angie to help level the playing field between her Blissey and the Battle Trainer users.

As they begin their training, they notice that the Battle Trainer users have started to bully and intimidate the traditional trainers, even going so far as to damage their Pokemon in battles. This causes tensions to rise in the town and even puts Ash and his friends in danger.

Determined to help Angie and the other traditional trainers, Ash and his friends come up with a plan to challenge the Battle Trainer users in a fair and equal battle. With the help of a impartial judge, the two factions face off in a battle that will determine the future of training in the town.
