Ep 33. Fighting Fear With Fear!

Ash and his friends are on their journey towards the Veilstone City when they stumble upon a group of Pokémon trainers who are rehearsing their moves. The group includes a young girl named Mira who notices Ash's Pikachu and eagerly requests to hold it, much to Pikachu's discomfort.

As they make their way through the forest, they suddenly hear a loud explosion. Worried, they rush to the source of the sound, where they find a group of people gathered around a huge crater. Inside the crater, they find a group of wild Pokémon fighting with each other.

Suddenly, a Team Rocket member appears and uses a device to control the wild Pokémon, making them attack the trainers and civilians nearby. Ash and his friends quickly spring into action to stop the mayhem. However, their efforts are thwarted when Team Rocket uses a smoke bomb to escape with their controlled Pokémon.

Mira then reveals that the wild Pokémon in the crater were previously controlled by her father's Team Galactic, using the same type of device that Team Rocket was using. Ash and his friends then decide to help Mira find her father and stop Team Galactic from causing any more destruction.

They soon find Mira's father, who reveals that his motive behind controlling the wild Pokémon was to protect his family from Team Galactic. However, he realizes that he was wrong and joins forces with Ash and his friends to stop Team Galactic once and for all.

As they track down Team Galactic, they come across the legendary Pokémon Mesprit, who has been captured by Team Galactic. Ash and his friends decide to free Mesprit, but are soon attacked by a group of Galactic grunts.

In the heat of the battle, Ash's Staraptor gets badly injured, making it unable to battle. To make matters worse, the Galactic grunts set loose a group of wild Luxray who start attacking everyone.

Mira then suggests to use her Stunky, a powerful but foul-smelling Pokémon, to ward off the wild Luxray. Ash and his friends are initially skeptical, but soon realize that fighting fear with fear might be their only option.

Using Stunky's Smokescreen attack, they are able to get the upper hand against the wild Luxray and the Galactic grunts. With their combined efforts, they are able to rescue Mesprit and defeat Team Galactic.

In the end, Mira's father apologizes for his mistake and decides to retire from being a Team Galactic member. Ash and his friends bid farewell to Mira and her father, and continue on their journey towards Veilstone City.
