Ep 36. A Secret Sphere of Influence

Ash and his friends arrive at their next destination in Sinnoh, the Sunyshore City. The bustling town is full of enthusiastic trainers and Pokemon enthusiasts, but they soon discover that a group of mysterious figures has taken over the town's main power plant.

Ash and his friends team up with a local gym leader, Volkner, to investigate the situation. They sneak into the power plant under the cover of darkness and discover a secret laboratory where the mysterious group is conducting experiments on Pokemon.

As they explore the lab, they come across a strange, glowing sphere that seems to be the source of the group's power. However, their investigation is cut short when they are discovered by the group and forced to battle.

The battle is intense, with both sides using their most powerful Pokemon. However, Ash and his friends manage to emerge victorious and destroy the secret sphere of influence, freeing the captured Pokemon and restoring the power plant to working order.

In the aftermath of the battle, Ash and his friends learn that the group was actually a band of rogue scientists who had been conducting unethical experiments on Pokemon in order to enhance their abilities. Left with no other options, they had resorted to taking over the power plant in order to keep their research going.

Ash and his friends are hailed as heroes for putting an end to the scientists' operation, and they leave Sunyshore City with renewed determination to continue their journey and help Pokemon wherever they can.
