Ep 21. Ya See We Want an Evolution

Ash and his companions are heading towards the next gym when they come across a group of wild Eevees. While playing with them, the group notices that one of the Eevees can't seem to evolve. They learn that its trainer doesn't want it to evolve.

Curious as to why anyone would willingly stop their Pokémon from evolving, Ash and the gang decide to investigate. They arrive at a nearby town and soon learn that the citizens have formed a club called the "Don't evolve your Eevee club". The members believe that Eevees are cuter and more lovable when they stay in their original form and refuse to let their Eevees evolve.

The group meets an old man who used to be a member of the club but changed his mind when he saw how much happiness his evolved Eevee brought him. He tells them about a nearby evolution specialist who can help train Pokémon to evolve on their own. The group decides to pay the specialist a visit and meets a woman named Sakura. She tests each of their Eevees to see which evolution would be best for them and helps train them to evolve.

The evolution process proves to be difficult for some of the Pokémon, especially a stubborn Eevee named Mikey. Mikey, the leader of the "Don't evolve your Eevee club" and the one responsible for stopping his own Eevee's evolution, sees how happy his friends become when they evolve but still refuses to let his own Eevee evolve. He feels that his Eevee is perfect just the way it is and doesn't want to change it.

Sakura takes a special interest in Mikey and his Eevee, seeing potential in them both. She works with them and teaches them how to trust each other, which proves to be the key to unlocking Eevee's evolutionary potential. Mikey learns that he doesn't have to change his Eevee's outward appearance to love and accept it for who it is.

Finally, after a lot of hard work and determination, Mikey's Eevee evolves into a beautiful and powerful Vaporeon. Mikey is shocked and overwhelmed but ultimately happy with the transformation. The group celebrates their success, and Mikey decides to disband the "Don't evolve your Eevee club" in favor of a new club dedicated to helping Eevees evolve.
