Leaving Seafoam Islands, Chuva and party swim their way and make it to Cinnabar Island. Shortly after, they attempt to challenge the Cinnabar Gyn only to be sent to find the key to its entrance in the Pokemon Mansion.

Though fresh out of saving Silph Co. from Team Rocket, the young trainer still wasn't strong enough yet to face the Saffron City Gym. So some trainer battles, catching combos and even a surprise trade from a familiar friend helped Chuva gain enough experience to come back and finally take on the psychic-based gym.

Though the Admin was defeated by our hero trainer and friend, Chuva still found himself navigating throughout the building, At last at the Silph Co President's office, he faces off with familiar formidable foes and fights his hardest to save Silph Co and ultimately, Kanto.

Back inside the Silph Co, building, Chuva makes his way through only to find the notorious Team Rocket waiting for him in their attempt to corrupt the company. From to floor to floor and teleport pad to teleport pad, Chuva meets foes old and new and battles with all his abilities as a trainer.

Chuva goes into the Silph Co. building and finds a of couple companions there to huddle up with. After skillfully drawing straws, he quickly departs the building and makes a detour to get more strength in his party.

After making light-work of Admin. Archer, Chuva is finally introduced to what seems to be the boss of this evil organization. Deeming to be a worthy opponent, Chuva left the hideout victorious for the time being and decided to challenge the grass gym of Celadon City while he was there.

Now in Team Rocket's hideout, Chuva finds that he's running, battling and even spinning through this organization's quarters. Arriving in the Boss' office, the young trainer ends up once again battling Jessie and James and even a higher-up of Team Rocket by the name of Archer.

Bummed he couldn't reach it to the top of the Pokemon Tower and determined to save the Cubone from Team Rocket, Chuva heads in the direction of Celadon City. He picks up a few valuable items along the way, then finds himself at the foot of a hidden entrance to the evil organization's lair.

Having learned a useful Secret Technique from the ship's captain, Chuva experienced all that he could on the S,S, Anne and watched it depart. He now had all he needed to cut through to the Vermilion City Gym and fight to earn his Lightning Badge.
